PA Bar: Highly Recommended
Jill Beck, Esq. is deeply passionate and very ready to become a judge on the PA Superior Court. She is driven to run for this seat in large part because of her background in family law, and the frequency and significance of the family law cases which come before this particular court. After graduating 4th in her class from Duquesne Law, Beck spent the first 8 years of her legal career as an attorney at Kids Voice, a well-respected non-profit which represents children in dependency (civil child protection) cases in Allegheny County. She then spent 10 years (2010-2019) as a law clerk to Justice Christine Donohue on the Superior & Supreme Court. Since 2019 has worked for Blank Rome in Commercial Litigation Dept, where she has also taken the lead on a variety of pro bono matters. In her campaign, Beck has emphasized that she believes that “justice is served only when every person - regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or income - has fair and equal access to the courts.” She is running “to ensure that justice in Pennsylvania is for ALL.” Both her trial court experience, as well as her years spent clerking in the Superior & Supreme Court, make her a compelling and excellent candidate for this particular position.
