Philly 15th endorses Amanda McIllmurray for City Council At-Large. A lifelong Philadelphian and community organizer, she will bring an organizer’s mentality to City Council. 

McIllmurray grew up in a union household and is a graduate of Central High School. These personal experiences shaped her commitment to: improving funding for public education, supporting renter protections, and funding libraries to be open seven days a week.

As an openly LGBTQ+ candidate who would be part of the first council to include openly LGBTQ+ councilmembers, she will serve as a role model for LGBTQ+ young people to get involved in politics.
